Kancil owner beware!

Was at the Perodua service centre a couple of days ago when I saw one unlucky lad. His car was broken into at the Sibu General Hospital and to add the misery, he just got his car for just a month. Carted off was the head unit and the passenger door panel. The whole incident happened in only minutes. This is not the first case actually that I heard happening at the hospital. Makes me wonder, what are those GUARDS doing there? Anyway, when I asked him about the car alarm's, he said it didn't activated. Hmmm ... what's happening here? What is the purpose of a car alarm if it doesn't function? Nasib baik the thieves didn't steal the whole car.

That night, was feeling kinda stress (due to the fact work's been piling up for the past few weeks and the incoming exams) and decided to go unwind myself. Suddenly I remembered Desmond's post about the San Miguel thingy and went out to look for it. Yup, it tasted good ... its just that the kick feels slow, I mean slower than the likes of Tiger (hari hari mau!) and of course, my favourite Guiness Stout@ bitter. Anyway, looking forward for another session tonite. Next week, i'll be offline for 5 days since I am joining the birotatanegaracamp ... Hmmm it'll be tiring since the schedule is packed, real packed ... sleep at 12 midnight n wake up 5am in the morning? Geee ... guess i'll be burning off some calories then. Until then ... ciao folks

Yup ... some heavy activities spotted near the bridge ... spotted few heavy vehicles already using the bridge ... heard its gonna be open on the 24th .... emmmmm .... goodbye ferry lanang ...

Was on the way back from Mukah to Sibu .... when I encountered numerous blockades ( more than 10, actually!!!). Hmmmmm ... normally this would be the signs that election is coming soon, very very soon ....

Excerpt from Headlines on local newpapers:
- Pasukan pemusnah Aedes gempur 4 negeri
Sehingga 8 Oktober lalu, kementerian memeriksa hampir 2.4 juta premis di seluruh negara dan 24,748 premis positif nyamuk atau jentik-jentik Aedes. Sebanyak 27,030 bekas dalam premis itu mempunyai jentik-jentik dan pasukan cari dan musnah membubuh abate di 200,000 bekas atau tempat air bertakung.
Bagi tempoh sama, kementerian keluarkan 7,056 notis amaran membiakkan nyamuk Aedes, mengutip RM13,605 kompaun dan mengenakan RM2.5 juta denda. 48 kes dibawa ke mahkamah dan mengenakan denda RM16,000 kepada pemilik premis yang membiakkan nyamuk Aedes.
- Kes demam denggi di 4 negeri kritikal
- Penghidap denggi meningkat
- 2 Kematian Akibat Denggi
